ON THE ISSUES

COST OF LIVING

Here in New York, our hard-earned dollars don't go far enough. Families struggle under the weight of sky-high taxes, housing costs and everyday expenses that keep piling up. Building a more affordable New York starts by letting taxpayers keep more of their own money. I'm fighting to cut wasteful spending, deliver real tax relief, and expand economic growth and opportunity. By focusing on fiscal responsibility and long-term stability, we can bring down costs for working families, attract businesses and jobs, and stop driving residents out of our
state.

PUBLIC SAFETY

"Safety First" isn't just a slogan - it's a core responsibility of state government. I've led thecharge in Albany to reform dangerous bail and discovery laws that put repeat offenders back onthe streets and turned the criminal justice system upside down. While many across the aisle callfor defunding police, I will always support the brave men and women of law enforcement. It'stime we get back to prioritizing victims over criminals and reversing soft-on-crime policies. That's the only way to restore safe streets, safe communities, and a safer New York.

ENERGY

Heating your home or keeping your lights on shouldn’t be a crushing financial burden. But for millions of New Yorkers, utility bills have increased at a rate they simply can’t keep up with. New Yorkers pay over 70% more for energy than the national average, and decisions made in Albany have driven us to this point. The state’s rushed, all-electric energy overhaul isn’t working. I support a common-sense approach that expands reliable power sources, stabilizes our energy grid, cuts red tape to get new power online, and delivers immediate fiscal relief to consumers. Reliable, affordable energy powers our economy and our quality of life.

GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTABILITY

Ask any New Yorker, this state spends too much, and people get too little in return. At $277 billion, the state budget has increased a whopping $100 billion in just the last five years. That’s reckless and irresponsible. Albany politicians aren’t looking out for hardworking taxpayers; they’re looking at them like a piggy bank. It’s time for greater accountability, shining a light on spending, and ending the backroom deals. I’m committed to real oversight that roots out fraud, waste and abuse and protects taxpayers’ interests, not special interests. New Yorkers deserve leaders who are open, honest, and focused on results.

QUALITY OF LIFE

A quality of life that works for my constituents means safer streets, lower costs, strong schools, access to services, and vibrant communities. Your state government should be investing time, energy, and resources into the things that matter most to families, things like child care, public safety, strong education and quality health care services. By focusing on these opportunities,we can rebuild New York as a place where people want to raise families, build careers, and enjoy a bright future.
