ASSEMBLY MINORITY LEADER RA ATTENDS ANNUAL POLICE OFFICERS MEMORIAL REMEMBRANCE DAY CEREMONY

Assembly Minority Leader Ed Ra (R-Franklin Square) joined his legislative colleagues and law enforcement officers from across the state to honor 56 brave police officers who sacrificed their lives in service to New Yorkers during the annual Police Officers Memorial Remembrance Ceremony in Albany. Leader Ra shared his admiration and gratitude with members of the Nassau County Police Department in attendance, noting their courage and dedication to their Long Island community. 

 Among the 56 new names added to the memorial was Nassau County Police Department Lieutenant William G. Krupa who died as a result of illness from work at Ground Zero. The New York State Police Officers Memorial now includes the names of 1,964 police officers from more than 150 agencies statewide.
