ASSEMBLY MINORITY LEADER RA CELEBRATES FORT DRUM DAY WITH 10th MOUNTAIN DIVISION LEADERS

Assembly Minority Leader Ed Ra (R-Franklin Square) joined Assembly and Senate colleagues today at the Capitol to meet with leaders from the Army’s 10th Mountain Division stationed at Fort Drum to commemorate Fort Drum Day. The annual recognition emphasizes Fort Drum’s critical role in national defense and its significant economic impact on New York, particularly in the North Country, where it serves as one of the region’s largest employers, contributing $2.5 billion to the local economy.

Leader Ra expressed his deep gratitude to the military personnel and their families for their tremendous sacrifice in service to our country. Ra also reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring they receive the support and resources they deserve.
