Assembly Republican Leader Ed Ra (R-Franklin Square), Town of Hempstead Supervisor John Ferretti, and members of the Assembly and Senate Republican Conferences will host a press conference today, March 24, at 10:30 a.m. to voice opposition to the REVIVE Act (A.10632). The proposed legislation undermines municipalities’ local control by fast-tracking retail spaces and parking areas to be converted into residential and mixed-use developments. The measure threatens local zoning authority, erodes community input and forces a one-size-fits-all approach to development on neighborhoods across New York.
